Is there still hope for Rogers (Fido) to improve the base iPhone plan for Canadians?

The ruinediphone.com petition is almost up to 50,000 signatures, so if you haven’t signed yet (and want to complain to Rogers about the high rates/3 year requirement), please make sure quickly add your name and comments.

I don’t see Rogers lowering the base plan ($60/mo.) per say, but I would be more inclined to switch to them (and get the iPhone) if the base plan had 750-1000 MB of data with earlier evening/weekends (or a few more minutes.) In the end, the 3 year requirement might be what scares me away.

More information: Rogers pricing, Fido pricing

You could also check out iPhone in Canada – a blog that follows the latest in the Canadian launch.

I won’t link to any international pricing as it’ll just make you more annoyed with Rogers.
